Kaempferol Reverses Acute Kidney Injury in Septic Model by Inhibiting NF-κB/AKT Signaling Pathway

چکیده

Sepsis is the main cause of acute kidney injury (AKI), mainly due to systemic immune dysregulation. Kaempferol (KAE) a natural flavonoid compound with multiple biological activities including anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and antiapoptotic properties. In this study, we constructed sepsis-induced AKI mouse model an LPS-induced glomerular mesangial cell (HK-2) in vitro sepsis model. We found that KAE ameliorated renal pathological damage, reversed function inhibited p-p65 p-AKT protein expression. addition, proliferation apoptosis HK-2 cells. These studies suggest reverses by inhibiting activation NF-κB/AKT pathway reverse injury.

Glycyrrhizic Acid Attenuates Sepsis-Induced Acute Kidney Injury by Inhibiting NF-κB Signaling Pathway

Glycyrrhizic acid (GA) is a major active ingredient in licorice. In our study, the effects of GA on acute kidney injury (AKI) in rats and its underlying molecular mechanisms were investigated. The sepsis model was produced by caecal ligation and puncture (CLP) in rats. The molecular and histological experiments were performed in the kidney tissues and serum samples of rats. According to the res...

Paeonol protects endotoxin-induced acute kidney injury: potential mechanism of inhibiting TLR4-NF-κB signal pathway

STUDY DESIGN AND METHODS In order to determine the therapeutic effect and mechanism of paeonol on acute kidney injury induced by endotoxin, an acute kidney injury model was established by intraperitoneal administration of lipopolysaccharide in mice in vivo and on LPS-induced dendritic cells in vitro. Renal tissues were used for histologic examination. Concentrations of blood urea nitrogen and s...

Xenon Protects Against Septic Acute Kidney Injury via miR-21 Target Signaling Pathway*

OBJECTIVES Septic acute kidney injury is one of the most common and life-threatening complications in critically ill patients, and there is no approved effective treatment. We have shown xenon provides renoprotection against ischemia-reperfusion injury and nephrotoxicity in rodents via inhibiting apoptosis. Here, we studied the effects of xenon preconditioning on septic acute kidney injury and ...

Acanthopanax senticosus attenuates inflammation in lipopolysaccharide-induced acute lung injury by inhibiting the NF-κB pathway.

The dried roots of the plant Acanthopanax senticosus (AS) are used in traditional Oriental medicine and reportedly possess anti-inflammatory properties in vitro. However, whether AS has the same anti-inflammatory effect in vivo and the underlying mechanisms of this action remain unknown. In this study, we pretreated a mouse model of lipopolysaccharide-induced acute lung injury with AS and found...

New developments in septic acute kidney injury.

The kidney is a common "victim organ" of various insults in critically ill patients. Sepsis and septic shock are the dominant causes of acute kidney injury, accounting for nearly 50 % of episodes of acute renal failure. Despite our substantial progress in the understanding of mechanisms involved in septic acute kidney injury there is still a huge pool of questions preclusive of the development ...
